Talking to some people is utterly pointless.

He just proved her point.

Just like my dog…

Just like Larson’s dog in The Far Side: “What we say to dogs; what they hear”.

Grimmy! That’s not what she was saying!

What I say: “Stop that!” What my cats hear: “Waah waah waah!”

Oh, he’s listening; it’s the understanding part with which they have trouble.

Sounds just like my wife…

At least Grimm “KNOWS” what he wants to hear and eat ……. :)

There’s a difference between tuning out what you want to hear and hallucinating what you do want to hear.

At least he has a nice attitude… I guess.
