You learn to live with it. Things still need to get done like mowing 5 acres and then 20 acres. That’s 2 days 5 hrs each. Not to mention gardening.
Push mowing is a very hot job, a riding mower on the other hand creates a breeze that helps. Even though lately dw has been on the drass in the morning, mowing before 10 is much more comfortable than late afternoon. Late afternoon is when it is easier on the grass. When it is 100 and heat index is even hotter, my health comes before grass.
