One day a little girl was throwing star fish into the ocean when the tide was low. A man walks by and asks the girl why she is bothering to throw them into the ocean when the beach is littered with thousands of them and she couldn’t possibly make a difference. The girl smiles and picks up a star fish and triumphantly throws it back into the ocean and said, “to that star fish out made a difference.”
Imagine what the world would be like if we all simply made a difference in someone’s life. How big would our problems be after that? But most of us don’t, myself included.
Speaking of handling small problems, on their 19 Oct 2021 podcast, Ted Rall is “teaching” Stanti about Isis. He says that the caliphate (political-religious state) that ISIS wants to create is comparable to the Roman Catholic Church, like today’s RC Church. Stanti, a Roman Catholic, himself, let’s it ride………………no pushback whatsoever………………….two guys, who could and should be more critical thinkers, who choose, daily to be Beavis and Butthead.
Republicans still support the BIG LIE, even tho traitor Trump lost unAmerican republicans will pretend he won and that he is not a cook or liar, or thief or a would be dictator who is vindictive and wants revenge on the majority of Americans who did not vote for him, so he would turn the USA into a right wing prison.
The first thing in fixing problem/issues is recognizing that the problem/issues are real. Problems/issues are spheres not just two sides, but items that have millions of ways of addressing them
There is no doubt that a “cancel culture clique” exists on many cartoon comment sites. Their maliciousness is surpassed only by their twisted analogies which reveal their abilities to make a statement.

One thing that would help in fixing them Big Problems would be accurate information about them.

You can fix a big problem by essentially underestimating it? I don’t think so.On the other hand a long journey begins with a single step.
