We used to go fishing at the cottage when I was young and there were so many fish, they would practically all fight over the bait and jump in your pail (slight exaggeration, but only slight)

50 years later, there are no more fish in that lake. The husband (scuba) dived (dove?) the lake and said he didnt see a single fish.Over fishing, zebra mussels, pollution – has taken a toll on our lakes.

Very sad.

I have always wondered why, after all the fish I caught as a kid, to this day I have a hard time telling if I am bringing up my line with a fish on it or just a stick.

I catch a lot of that when I go fishing, too, Sophie.

I think they finally found something a dog won’t eat.
