Sadly, I have used this what herb said from beginning to end with several people, with failure. One side is they say because I’m white, I don’t understand a Black person’s point of view so my BLM stance is meaningless. The other is…well, they didn’t WANT to understand because “they’re always right” (or so they acted). It won’t stop me. Too many Black heroes in my life, male and female, seen and unseen. Mr. Bentley? I’m looking at you, too.

maybe , to make it more understandable, ‘too’ should be added to the end of ‘black lives matter’

Apparently racism is something only white people suffer from. I’m done.

If Black Lives Matter, why is it the organization only focuses on White on Black shootings and not on the more common black on black shootings. Black lives matters is more divisive than focusing on all lives matter.

Of course, all lives matter, that why it is said that God so loved the world. But, sometimes we have to emphasize certain races to get everyone’s attention. So, black lives matter, asian lives matter, and old white peoples lives matter. I just added that last one because I’ve one of ‘em. Let’s remember now, Love One Another!

I love that those two statements" Now, I can explain to you what that means… But I can’t understand it for you. There in lies the issue.

Imagine seeing a house on fire and saying, “All houses matter!” Focusing on the burning house doesn’t mean other houses don’t matter. It means there’s something different and urgent happening with the burning house that needs to be addressed. The same principle applies when people say, “Black lives matter.”
