    Also, you shouldn’t be able to talk to a human without spending five or ten minutes making choices on an automated menu while occasionally being told you should really be on their website and getting cut off at least once or twice and having to start over.

    These days, the better systems will take your phone number and call you back. Of course, every once in a while, you still end up in a queue.

    If my call was actually important to you, you’d hire enough reps to freakin’ answer it!!!

    My beloved is retired from managing inbound customer service call centers; the reps would get disciplined if a call wasn’t answered – by a human – by the 3rd ring.
