The problem is, there are more people running the world than there are best minds to fix their messes.

I’ve never understood why anyone would want to be In Charge.

It concerns me that most of the people running things were C students at best

No, anybody wanting to run for office has to determine whether they want the exposure/scrutiny from the media and social networks of their personal lives . So we are doomed by having selections at voting booth of people too stupid to care about that and others well being , egotists & BS artists looking for a platform to get attention , people who look at politics as a means to have control over others , some who believe that lobbyists will make them rich (after watching most politicians rake in bucks one way or another), people who got tired of being internet nobodies , etc etc etc………….meaning we get selections of wrong people for all the wrong reasons …so what can possibly go positive direction ( yes, I’m avoiding the word “right” ) .
