Lawns plural sounds strange. Are front yard and back yard not connected?

Baseball? That’s just not cricket…….

Sometimes you just need an unplanned day off ;-)

How many lawns do they have? If we didn’t mow at least once a week Stella wouldn’t find her way to the back door?

No matter. I can relate to that look of Mrs. Dear.

I guess she thought wrong.

Mowing? In this heat?

The only thing I use the lawn mower for is mulching leaves in the Fall.

Quite a difference in the later years when Mr. Dear was more in to his gardening and Mrs. wasn’t so naggy

Well, the “mother country” isn’t offering any good examples for me today.

Go out and mow, Mr. Dear. You’ll feel better once it’s done.

Plant clover, it requires a lot less maintenance than grass.

Still trying to ‘get used to’ new illustrations. So used to previous illustrator’s version of Fred Basset.

Can’t rush things …… he did get the mower cleaned ……. :)
