Memory, how does it work again?

You never know what will make an impression on a child

The things kids remember are classic.

One good memory and she’s there! YAY!

It’s called childhood amnesia and everyone has it. Studies have show that children as young as 8 can’t remember significant events that happened just a few years earlier. Completely forgetting a family vacation is a classic example. We don’t lose all our early childhood memories, but most of them slip away.

I see I’m not the only one who is fixated on lamps. :)

I always enjoy the rare moments of reflection in Alice. So quiet and solemn; you can almost hear the gears whirring. And then suddenly, in panel four, she snaps back to the Alice we all, uh, love.

Alice, don’t forget your shovel so you can bury Petey in the sand (to protect him from the sun, of course.)

Alice’s memory works in mysterious ways. And her leaps of “logic” (I LOVE the beach!) are even more amazing….
