It’s my understanding that most of the plastic floating in the ocean is very small.

There has been human made trash found in the Mariana Trench. 7 miles deep! It’s not enough we are going to destroy our Earth, but the oceans beneath us. :’(

The sharks and whales are beaching at a record number, if that isn’t sending a message . . .

And many dying a slow death wrapped up in fishing nets!!!

If only….

The oceans are in real trouble and so is the " World Population " because of it , too bad : (

If only the fish could do that to us. It would be an incentive to clear up the oceans quickly.

Yep. Those old timers sure were screwed up. They used paper bags and glass (both recyclable and re-new-able) to carry stuff and for their liquids. Throw-a-way came about because people were too busy, they say. Actually, I think it was for convenience, laziness, and any thing to avoid work. So now we all pay the price. We should go back to paper bags and glass containers. That would be a beginning.

I wish them all the luck in the world! Those dang humans aren’t satisfied with messing up the land; they are ruining the oceans too!

Plastic is a two edged sword. No surgical procedure can be done without it. It makes vehicles lighter. It’s used in solar panels. I’m writing from a plastic wrapped iPhone. We are “between a rock and a hard place”. But we should use glass and recycled paper wherever possible. And we’d better get control of our numbers.
