I always have to look up what the hell he’s talking about. The facts are that “more than half of the team stayed silent before their group game against Holland” and this is the cartoon he produces. So a silent protest suddenly becomes pro-China advocacy? Really?
You’d think they’d learn that America is the best place on earth, and they are lucky to live here. If they doubt me, they should check with a fellow female athlete, Brittney Griner.
“This is how the right-wing noise machine works: It gloms onto an immediate cultural moment, whatever that happens to be, and emits a series of high-pitched whining noises. This is financially and politically profitable for two reasons. First, it draws eyeballs. Conserva-trolls attach themselves like ticks to “the discourse,” drawing attention by becoming an irritant in a conversation that basically has nothing to do with them. Second, and more important, they use these cultural moments to reinforce a message of alienation and paranoia, separating their followers even further from the majority of everyday Americans and pushing them deeper into the world of hermetic right-wing nuttery. This tactic of isolating their audience from everyone else, including family members, strongly resembles the strategies used by cult leaders.
“Indeed, the blueprint used by right-wing propagandists in these exercises is so familiar that it’s become as automatic as breathing. First, figure out what ordinary people are talking about. Then be a total di(k about it, randomly claiming that it’s all a plot to undermine the “freedoms” and “traditions” of “real” Americans, i.e., culturally alienated conservatives. Persuade folks to start fighting about these non-issues on social media, and then sit back and watch the media fall for it, with accelerating coverage of their dumb and sometimes blatantly fake opinions bringing in clicks and ad dollars, or, for GOP elected officials and candidates, hard-cash donations."
Former House Speaker, Republican Newt Gingrich made a priceless remark about Donald Trump that was anything but flattering. He said, “One of Trump’s great advantages is he talks at a level where third, fourth, and fifth-grade educations can say, ‘Oh yeah, I get that. I understand it.’”
In the remarks that followed this tweet were the following:
- One of the most retweeted replies said simply, “He’s not wrong.”
- Another wrote, “A good reminder that Newt Gingrich is a stupid person’s idea of a smart person.”
- Another said, “The fact that he speaks to the children says everything you need to know about the educational level the Right is shooting for.”
- A poster wrote, “He appeals to the lowest common denominator,” and added a hashtag, #math.
- Someone stated, “Trump is on a third-grade level, so this isn’t an act.” It was followed by, “I mean, he has a point.”
- One person asked, “Is that supposed to be a compliment?”
- Another added, “Makes sense why the GOP is banning books.”
- A person explained “Generally, speaking simply helps. But I’m definitely enjoying the passive snide.”
- One wrote, “The Republican Party is a party of clowns.”
- Another disagreed, “It’s a cult. The very definition of cultism. Not hyperbole.”
- Someone else said, “It speaks volumes about America and how low we have sunk.”
- Another wondered, “Hasn’t he caused enough trouble?”
- One poster alleged, “This is the most truthful thing about Trump ever said.”
- Another chimed in, “Talk about a backhanded compliment of the MAGA base.”
- One said, “That’s right — adults with a grade school education. What could go wrong…”
- This person pleaded, “Stop and think for a minute how sad this commentary is.”
- Someone added, “Projection … they want everyone in the country to have the education of a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader.”
- And another one wrote, “And Trump voters have no idea that Newt just insulted them.”

After this slanderous toon, Lester should be made to stand on a goal line with his hands behind his head and face at least six penalty kicks!

Why are some so threatened by the lack of validation from ALL? Do you not believe in freedom of speech? Just another distraction?

I hope that someday Mike Lester will put away his anti-American views and find real patriotism.

I couldn’t have stated it more clearly myself.

In the dark web, Lester did reside,
A Hard Right troll, full of pride.
He darted out, with a sneer,
An insult so insincere,
To distract, divide, and deride.
======
But the awakened, they stood tall,
Seeing through his divisive thrall.
For the threat to the nation,
Lay in Trump’s salutation,
To a North Korean general, appall!

If, as the democrats say, they want Trump to run against Biden, why are they trying to put Trump in jail?

If the queers on the team don’t like it….they can always leave. I wish they would. The world is much better without the mentally ill misfits.
