I find lots of money on the sidewalks and street. Found $20 one morning.
Having a tendency to heap frugal on top of austerity, I will readily pick up any feral coins I find.
A 1943-D Lincoln Wheat Cent Penny (Bronze/Copper) can be worth $2,305,706
A 1944-S Lincoln Wheat Cent Penny (Steel Cent) can be worth $1,137,794
A 1943-S Lincoln Wheat Cent Penny (Bronze/Copper) can be worth $593,651
just to name a few – so do stop me from picking up pennies…
Tell me again why we still have the penny?
I pick up every penny, nickel, dime, and quarter I find. I have a piggy bank that is about half way full. I’ve found what I thought was a penny and it turned out to be a dime. That’s happened a few times.
I’m at the age where bending over to pick up a penny is kinda iffy.
