I remember having to do speed reading in second grade. We also did victory drills, and one time I saw the word angle, and I was arguing with the teacher after I said angel because I had never heard of the word angle before.

That’s why I read slow. To avoid the cops.

Not to worry rapid readers, it’s only a Florida school library.

I’m a fast reader, and see no reason why I should be penalized for it.

If you get caught three times, they revoke your poetic license.
