The answer to Sluggo’s question is that when you look straight down, you see any gaps between blades of grass, but at a distance all but the biggest gaps are hidden. So the grass literally looks greener the farther away you look.

Keeping to the color theme, I have always wondered why since the sky is blue, why is the sky bluer at high noon than it is blue at sunset?

Why is the grass always greener on the other side, you may ask. It all has to do with natural fertilization. When the chicken crosses the road, it is to defecate on the other side.

She’s right. That question sucks. It was bad, and you should feel bad, Sluggo.
