The pace of social and technological change has virtually eliminated wisdom because experience becomes worthless.
If you can’t be wise, try to be entertaining. If you’re neither, well, let’s just say, don’t watch Logan’s Run or Soylent Green.
The older I get, the more I realize I don’t know squat. Does that make me wise or an idiot?
It isn’t that old age correlates to wisdom, it’s that stupidity more frequently correlates with dying young
Considering how the many of the elderly support a man who led a (thankfully failed) violent insurrection, I don’t see much wisdom.
