The only thing wrong with the impeachment(s) was that Republicans collectively violated their Oath of Office

    and

their Oath to judge the impeachments fairly and impartially.

    .

And of course they claim to be the party of Law and Order.

    .

There is NO issue they will not weaponize and LIE about.

Anybody read this months Saturday Evening Post? A comic in it was about a lawyer telling a judge “Well your honor, while my clients testimony wasn’t true, it was based on a true story”. oranges defense?

The Founding Fathers could never have guessed a mere TV celebrity would be elected President.

(I learned how evil T-Rump is when he fired Cyndi Lauper from his show because she gave credit for a good idea to a subordinate. T-Rump and his flunkies couldn’t understand how anyone could do such a thing.)

    Founding politicians were just that.

John Adams explained the Founders’ understanding when he wrote that good government and the very definition of a republic “is an empire of laws.”

The rule of law acts as a potent barrier against tyrannical and arbitrary government.

I bet I know who Trump and his supporters think should replace them on our currency. Probably starting with the mugshot.

The Constitution wasn’t written on stone tablets like many think. The Founders knew that the nation would change and it should be tuned up every so often to accomodate societal and political changes.

Gerrymandering, out and out lying, ignoring election results, violently attacking the Capitol….is that any way to run a political party??

Didn’t envision the criminals writing and/or enforcing said laws.

Believe it or not, ol depresso Stanti, things are better today than back then. Let me know if you need me to break it down for you. Watch out for old people, folks, too many of them will try to drag you to the grave with them.

Actually, I think they did see it coming and thus why there was a ‘compromise’ not to put ‘no slavery’ in the constitution.

Scott, the threat and implementation of the impeachment, investigation and subpoenas ARE THE ONLY WAY to keep elected officials on THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW. Such procedures, again, are the only way to hold the human greed in check as related to any type of government —witness the past accounts of history. There is no need to name names—history has recorded them for their follies. I will personally add here that if we loose the constitution as written; and , alter it’s protections—-we will soon have images on coin and billls that are truly unworthly and undeserving. The current atmosphere is charged with St. Elmo’s Fire, " Batten down the hatches" and pray for guidance through the current chaos. We are a great nation and will survive. Everyone! Set aside your intense hate and vitriol (cruel and bitter criticism) and sail our ship to safe harbor.

Obviously they foresaw it. That is why they put impeachment in the constitution.
