Funny. I visited some friends this weekend in my old neighborhood in rural upstate NY and they’re currently having a number of black bear sightings in the area. Looks like they ARE heading south to get away from the Canadian fires…

What about smokey the bear?

Yup. We have taken in a family of refugees from the fires in the NWT.

I have seen enough videos on the internet of bears in a family’s backyard pool to know that the little bears cannot stop themselves from playing with the inner tube. The adult bears have to be content with just floating in the water.

Try to stay out of Connecticut, bears — them Nutmeggers are armed and dangerous. (>

And then the sharks hit, moving closer to the shore with the ever warming waters.

They found the heat unbearable.

Well, those bears better have their papers in order, before they cross the border!!!

If I hear another climate change skeptic on FOX, fair dinkum, I will throw a rock at the screen. Enough you ding bats.

It’s true; it’s true. Temperatures are getting hotter and hotter, rainfall is decreasing, forests are drying out and turning to tinder. And then a lightening strike starts a fire which proves climate change has nothing to do with it. It’s lightening, you see, that’s the cause. Can’t possibly be two things at once.
