I just love when the super strong villain almost defeats the equally strong hero and the hero is vulnerable suddenly the cops show up and the villain is afraid of them! Happens all the time.
Do any of you remember where you were when 9-11 happened?
I was vacationing in Hawaii with my mom. We were checking out Waikiki Beach when we heard about the hijacked planes. We did the only thing we could do… We did all of our souvenir shopping right then and there. Hawaiian shirts for the guys, and “diving for pearls” at pearl booths for the gals. And later that evening, we went to a luau. It was part of our tour package.

I’m pretty sure it was the huge BOOM that tipped them to your location.

Toaster waffles, not pancakes, or, even freshly made waffles? You Fiend! Wait until Rip, and/or. Tank catches up to you again.

Shades of Jack Kirby in the 2nd panel. Very nice.

It would be great if Rip and Tank teamed up to clean Tick-Tock’s clock.

Very sneaky way of mentioning 9/11 in the last panel — “I didn’t think his brain could remember a number as big as 911…”
Always remember.
