Louie is about to find out that the rumbling was Nate’s stomach, not the storm.

That’s smart, Louie. Here in North America when the thunder is from the west it means the storm is approaching. Good idea to seek shelter.

When you hear thunder east, it means the storm is ending and is moving off.

I have 4 rescue dogs. One doesn’t care at all if there are fireworks or thunder. One is a quivering mess jumping in your lap for comfort. The other two are scared, but barely manage.

What a warm and kind Overboard, warms our hearts.

Looks like a cozy place to be Louie!!!!

The spilled drink and tossed book can be dealt with later, Louie needs Nate’s wraparound arms right now.

One of our dogs hides under my desk in a thunderstorm. I crank up the stereo so she can’t hear the thunder…

My Jack Russel (Sassafras) uses me the same. At night she always appears on the top of my pillow.

It looks like the lightning is IN their boat

My husbands black lab loved him dearly and would stick to him like glue… until the thunder started. Then it was Mom’s lap only and nothing else would do.

You dont often see Louie’s eyes. Nate looks very comforting.
