I get letters telling me the jewels, money, stocks, keys to a mansion Etc. is waiting at customs for me to pick up. The letters ( email) always starts out: Dearheart.
I once had a fine time with a scammer claiming to be my cousin who needed to borrow money because he was in jail in London. I started out by asking what our grandmother’s name was. I know I enjoyed the interchange. The scammers, maybe not so much. Had to let my cousin know about his compromised e-mail, but several others had already notified him.

Ever been scammed?
Some tried and failed – but I don’t want to jinx it.
