So far, we’ve just stuck with “cable” (well, it’s actually distributed by satellite), but cord cutting looks better and better. One of the reasons I’ve not pushed forward is illustrated here.
FWIW, my local cable (actually, fibre-optic) company (Telus, here in Canada) has some streaming services (Netflix, Prime, Acorn…) as channels in its own lineup, accessible (like various other channels or bundles) for an additional charge (which is presumably mostly passed on to the streaming service).

Since I “cut the cable” I seem to have this same problem-that said,my technology bill has been cut in half,maybe a little more!
