Mike Oldfield had Prince beat. He played 28 instruments on his debut album (Tubular Bells).

Plus, Richard Branson was his producer.

Howler monkeys have a 140 db scream. Prince’s first album in which he payed all of the instruments should have been called “For Me.”

There is a lot of arguement about the 28 instruments, as many of them are simply variations of one another. Listed instruments are; acoustic, electric, and bass guitar; acoustic and Fender Rhodes piano; synth bass; various keyboard synths by Oberheim, Moog, and ARP; orchestra bells; drums and percussion. AND he credits the drummer David Garibaldi, for programming his drum machine beats.

All that aside, he was still a talented musician to be able to have enough working knowledge of thos instruments to incorporate them into his work

There has been only one concert that I’ve attended that I considered loud. It was a Who concert at the Capitol Centre back in ‘73. I didn’t think it was loud at first, but when I got back to the barracks (Ft. Meade, Md.) my ears were ringing. A tremendous show with an awesome opening act, Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I went to school with some crazy kids who tried to break into Kobain’s house and had to be bailed out by the teacher. It was a boring school if it wasnt’ for those kids.
