Oh, what we will do for our children!

At least Alice is predictable. She always wants the biggest thing available.

Either Petey is bored or embarrassed.

Petey, re-label that to “Pumpkin Box.” I’m surprised you didn’t do that already. Maybe you’re too depressed about the whole thing.

Madeline is even tougher than Alice.

The big one is bigger than their car!

I’m with Madeleine. It’s important when picking your pumpkin to get the ideal one for carving.

A boy dreaming of a foggy autumn field, the smell of dirt and leaves heavy in air at the family outing to the pumpkin patch only to find a crate surrounded by cement and asphalt.

Decisions….should have stayed home. LOL

Alice wanted that big urn, a few weeks ago. Maybe she wants to store the pumpkin in the urn.

The selected pumpkin must be worthy of a carving masterpiece.

Go with the second to last. From what I can see, it appears to be well-shaped and a good size. I don’t carve mine anymore, but I am something of a pumpkin aficionado. :-D
