My dog likes lettuce, especially iceberg because it’s crunchy.

Ha! We had an American golden cocker spaniel that would almost take your hand off for a piece of lettuce. She loved raw pumpkin, too.

Come to think of it, I doubt there’s a Labrador anywhere that would turn up their nose at anything that remotely resembles food.

It’s been licked, anyway. Might as well take out the lettuce and let the dog have it.

Well dang. Now I have a sudden urge for a bologna sandwich on white bread with mayonnaise and lettuce. I haven’t had that for decades. Literally.
