I’ll just add to the prevailing opinions…if you are walking the dog, put the phone away. Plus, what could be better than out exploring with your buddy!
That is what I don’t understand about the people who are walking their dogs but are on the phone. When the dog wants to stop and sniff something, pee, or poop, the person tugs on the leash so the dog will just keep walking along instead. I’ve seen dogs pooping as they are walking!!!

In the 15 years that I had my Boy (Avatar) he may have been on a leash less then a dozen times …… :)
