The best way to attract a certain type of girl, is date other women.

Her girlfriends would think that Flo’s lucky to be rid of him for a few hours!

There were plenty of old classics where Andy was at least partially successful with barmaids (or barflies…..) One of my favorites was one where the barmaid was crying to Flo because Andy had gotten her fired. Flo tells Andy, “You swine!” Andy turns to the reader and says, “Other men might think I’m lucky: me wife likes me girlfriend!” (If Eldo were free we could see the actual toon instead of my paraphrase…..free Eldo!)
