I have used nothing but electric for the last 50 years and I have never run over the cord, why would I? The cord stays on the left and I mow to the right. As a teenager, my Dad’s lawnmower seemed to never want to start of else the gas can was empty. I swore off gas for those reasons.
I’m waiting for the strip where he gets a job as the guy painting double stripes down the middle of the road and the last panel is the painted lines looking like above. :D
this was our former neighbor, the moron who cut down all the lovely old trees around the yard so that he could pave the entire property with gravel. he eventually puzzled out that grass grows in gravel, but never quite got the hang of his electric weed whacker…
