So glad we don’t have those kind of trashcans here. The wheelie bins we have, cannot be tampered with by cats or other critters. Would take a dog the size of Marmaduke to topple them I think.
I once kept bird seed in a metal trash can like that under my deck and used a bungee cord to fasten it. The very first night, the lid banging to the ground woke me from sleep. I bought a metal chain and fastened it to the can with steel spring snap links at each end to hold the lid down. No more problem.
