I have what we call my “Teddy Bear Village”. It started as a Christmas village populated by small teddy bears – mostly figurines and small toys. We hated taking it down and I realized that the teddy bear band which played for the teddy bear carolers at Christmas could play at the gazebo (aka bird feeder which looks like same) in July.
The village (in every year but this year) is changed monthly to match the month (except January is split between Xmas and Valentine’s Day. Somehow this year I never had a chance to change them. I do HOPE to change to store last year’s Xmas for this year’s Thanksgiving – including teddy bear figure Pilgrim and Native American teddy reenactors who set up their corn husk house next to the village hall. (And then back to Christmas for December and January.)

If it’s like the wild turkeys around here, it will disappear a week before Thanksgiving and reappear on Black Friday.
