Not many bugs spatter on our windshield any more, which I find disquieting. We are obviously poisoning our ecosystem and the Anthropocene Extinction Event has started in earnest.

Maybe if they used seat belts and put down their cell phones, they’d have a better chance of surviving.
I always try to avert my eyes when I see one on the roadside. This is tricky when I’m the one driving.
