About as much as they’ve done with their majority since the 2022 election. Except add even more of an element of being total and inept clowns.

When the house eventually elects a speaker and reconvenes, there will be a humongous “foreign aid package” to fund two wars overseas and who knows what else.

Leave the chair empty. Because the dems and RINOs will only allow another liar and thief to control tax money.

I hope nobody is holding their breath waiting for reparations or a student loan bailout.

I noticed that as soon as they switched from an open floor ballot to a secret vote, Jordan was rejected quite handily. It suggests to me that many who voted for him only did so for fear of reprisals.

I know this sounds cruel , but… this is worth wishing for.I have watched the GOP over 60 some years, devolve into a party of lies (list on request)!

The disparate elements within the House’s GOP membership have become a veritable sword of Damocles positioned directly over the speaker’s chair. How someone can corral this herd of cats is the problem for today. Once someone does get the votes, then, as Mr. T once so eloquently put it, “I pity the fool.”

Honestly, is anyone on either side of the aisle surprised? The same dynamics that drove John Boehner and Paul Ryan into abdication and retirement haven’t changed. Repubs have become a cult and can’t govern anymore.
