Catapulting pumpkins! What fun.

World Championship Punkin Chunkin (WCPC) was the name of an annual contest held the first full weekend after Halloween in Delaware from 1986 through 2013 and in 2016. It was also held in 2019 in Illinois and is scheduled to take place in 2023 in Oklahoma.

They must be listening to “Smashing Pumpkins”.

There used to be a Pumpkin Chucking special every year on some cable show. It was a contest. Lots of fun. I am easily entertained by vegetables that go splat.

It’s more fun to light them on fire before launching them.

Out of their gourd.

Well Tucker, it is like Scar from the Lion King eloquently put it – “I’m surrounded by idiots!”

Let them pumpkins fly.
