Most of the starters from the area in which the team plays? Why, that’s actually reasonable! What if the rule were that most of the players on a team actually had to come from the region of the team? (Of course the regions would be defined to have roughly equal populations — and yeah, I know, the regions for the Arizona and Nevada teams would have to extend roughly to Tierra del Fuego.)
The problem is that they’ve got 4 guys that only function when the ball is in their hands at all times and only 1 basketball. They’re not going to make the playoffs with 4 HOF players (and all 4 deserve to go in). It’s quite hilarious. “I’m not a system player. I am the system.” Yeah, not for about 5 years, Harden.
