He already used over half of 50 words in the strip.
When this strip was published, I was about as old as these kids. We actually sat and listened to the radio like this because there was NO TV YET.
Also, note that he’s using a dip pen.
Charlie Brown can’t count apparently. He’s used up half of his vocabulary already.
