‘The Bee’s Knees’ was the Roaring 20’s slang for ‘The Business’, with a hint of mockery at an Italian accent thrown in due to Capone, et al., gaining their notoriety at that same time.
This was hilarious. I suppose though part of why I don’t really want to retire is so I don’t have extra time to think of weird stuff like that. Happy New Year.
