Democrats admire Hamas too much to care.

Democrats didn’t hold up support for Israel.

Republicans are actively supporting Putin, who has done far worse to the people of Ukraine than Hamas has done to Israel.

Inclusive language need not be awkward. Put more elegantly: “Peace on earth, good will toward humankind.”

The Christmas tree was adopted from the pagan Germanic tribes to encourage them to convert to Christianity along with Christmas itself-a pagan celebration of the winter solstice. It has no history in the Middle East.

We are constantly being bombarded with the evidence that people today are as barbaric as they were centuries ago. With the only differences being that populations have increased, there now exists a wider selection of weaponry, and death and destruction have multiplied exponentially.

If you cut out Carmen’s dialogue, it’s a good piece.
