My BF is for making turkey soup from the leftover bird. I take down the autumn decorations and put up Christmas. I used to send a big batch of cards but last year I think I could count all the cards we got on less than one hand, so people aren’t interested in them much anymore.

We did the annual ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree tonite before Thanksgiving Dinner. The tre has been up for a week.

I turned on the nite/day switch on the outdoor Christmas lights right after dinner. At dusk they came on.

On July 5th my wife usually proclaims that summer is over and Christmas is around the corner.
