Humans are going to human. All you can do is try to remember to have enough popcorn on hand at all times.

" If we had no memories, we would have no use for time." Or if you don’t like that one, “Memories are the only paradise man cannot be driven.” Who said these? I can’t remember….

The Memory Palace is a mnemonic device from the Middle Ages. You imagine a house with different rooms, and arrange symbols of things you want to remember the rooms, in (imaginary) positions that aid your memory. I’ve never really used it, but the technique was popular for centuries.

Memory is what allows us to advance beyond eat, poop, reproduce, sleep.

I’m looking forward to next Monday so this Lay Lines offering is relegated to a distant memory.
