That’s ridiculous. If the US thinks that China is going away, wake up. China and the US need each other whether you like it or not.

Why do so many think we should support a communist dictatorship that uses horrible methods including genocide and slavery to control it’s citizens?

We all can push back on the China regime by shopping for goods not made there even if it means paying a little more.

What is wrong with these Democrat politicians trying to make this a better world. They should be more like Republicans and simply give up.

Nothing is wrong with it. But you have to be smart enough to know what and evil dictator is lying to you, which generally, Democrats aren’t.

China is not rising. China is reclaiming the place it occupied for centuries as one of the most powerful and richest countries in the world. That’s the reality in which we live and to which we must accommodate. Those who feel that the US can ignore China or wave its magic wand and make it submit are slaves of fantasy.

It seems to me that relations have improved as a result of their meeting. Minimally, the fentanyl deal will slow the flow of it into this country. Getting cooperation in some areas might thaw relations between the two countries. As Churchill said, “Jaw-jaw is better than war-war”.
