Why not? Paleontologists say that the early reptilian world was more the ancestors of modern mammals, then the dinosaurs (avian ancestors) took over, and then mammals again. Maybe it’s the reptile/avians’ turn again…

@prasrinivara Your assuming that they reached a state of perfection and see no need for further evolutionary change? Now, they’ve come to Earth to reinvigorate their DNA - sort of a Mars Needs Women (1967) plot.
