The committee had to include an SEC team in the playoff regardless of merit, the commissioner of the SEC said so much after Bama upset a very over rated UGA team and was worried that the committee should RIGHTFULLY leave the SEC out for the first time in history of the playoff..= Bama did beat UGA and yes should take their spot but besides beating Bama, what has Texas done for their resume, they lost to a meh, bland Oklahoma team? The Big 12 is down which is why it is dying like the PAC 10 just slower……
FSU beat LSU soundly on a neutral site by 21, Bama only beat LSU at Bryant-Denny by 14. I get UGA being left out but they would probably beat Texas by 14. FSU showed guts by winning down the stretch with 2nd and 3rd string qbs, yet they were penalized!I call BS! Politics at their worst in the selection committee, there will be repercussions to the committee but I bet they all have bank accounts in the Caymans where SEC (they probably took UGA money and boned them too) and Longhorn benefactors donated some coin for their retirement funds. The system is fixed!
Everyone, I have an announcement. As of this moment, I will no longer be saying that Tom Brady and any other athlete who has taken their talents elsewhere is a traitor. I only say that because I think it’s funny, but now I see that it’s gotten completely old. So instead, I will say that Tom Brady is a competition fiend who feels threatened if his position as the Goat is in jeopardy.
