I love that Rovers wee helmet has space for his wee nose. I think the cartoonist may have been lucky enough to have a dog like Rover when he was a lad

The boys need some Space Food Sticks, washed down by a big glass of Tang!

I like how Red’s mom goes along with his request about the the NASA Kitchen, saying it’s currently closed. What a great mom to foster Red’s imaginative play!

Rover will be satisfied with the milky bone. I’m with Red on the apple. Not substantial enough for your trek to outer space.

Ahh.. the secret is out.. Red speaks ‘Dog’ – and telepathically, as well.

LOL… old fish bowls with old antennas glued on Red found in the basement. Too funny.

Marooned ‘up there’ probably means staying in Red’s room, I suppose! How cute! And it’s good Mom doesn’t understand Rover, in more ways than one!

There has to be an unattended plate of candy or cookies, somewhere.

Somehow drinking Tang and squeezing a tube to eat a meal does not appeal to me.

Some people …….. just aren’t attuned …….. to dog language …… Right ….. Rover and Red …… :)
