    They also would brag about their kids’ accomplishments in those cards and try to make others feel bad whose kids weren’t quite as “accomplished.” Did it ever occur to anyone that sometimes people embellish such stories?

    How twue, how twue! I travel a lot inside my head: I go the past, the future, each state, every country, but because it doesn’t cost a lot of money, it’s “judged” unimpressive. What did we do before Google/internet?

    Well, you can get it once a year in a card or you can look at social media and get it every day.
