Visiting my dad one Christmas I had all 5 niblings. We were doing arts and crafts in the dining room. Radio and TV were both on. Craft supplies and discards everywhere. Dad walked in. Bellowed at us. I told him to go for a ride in the car (his favorite pass time) for an hour and come back. We had everything cleaned up and dinner ordered (pizza) when he got back. It was much quieter, just the TV on to an old rerun.
