Many years ago I worked the night shift in a restaurant.Pay day fell on Christmas Eve.I went and cashed my check on my lunch break.Then shopped at an open all night drug store at 1 AM Christmas day.
This reminds me of the people who come into the library in the summer to tell us what a beautiful day it is outside . . . while we’re stuck inside having to work.
