The players sit down close to each other in a circle. When the music starts, the players pass the parcel around the circle. As soon as the music stops, the player holding the parcel removes as many layers of wrapping paper as they can. Once the music begins again, the parcel is passed around the circle until the music stops.
The parcel should be passed around the circle in the same direction. The player who removes the last layer of wrapping paper keeps the present.
Pass the parcel as I know it is … all players sit in a circle, the parcel is passed around until the music stops, the the person holding it removes ONE layer and if he’s unlucky finds a forfeit which has to be performed before continuing. Not all layers have one so it is just luck to be able to pass it on straight away when the music restarts. The last layer hides a small prize for the winner.

The hamster’s probably looking forward to the next party. “I ‘aven’t ‘ad this much fun in my ‘ole life!”
(BTW, I don’t know why the timestamps on my comments seem to be off by three minutes. Maybe I’m time-traveling in my sleep?)

Andy learns his lesson not to play with the hamsters. Flo looks so crappy while she does the dishes or something in the kitchen. Tch!
