Oh to be young again. Now I go to bed early on New Year’s Eve.

I like Rover’s thinking.

Celebrating with extended family: old folks dozing in their chairs, young people playing rousing card games, little ones and dogs running around until they fall asleep wherever they land!

I like those wieners wrapped in biscuit dough. Sister Schubert used to have them frozen in the store.

y2k seems like yesterday, kids had friends over, we lit fireworks, the world didn’t end. I think that was the last time I stayed up until midnight although many nights now I’m up using the bathroom at that time.

Red is like me, preparing way ahead of time, lol!
