@drbee- For me, it sucks that Rudy went out the way he did! When he was the mayor of NYC, it was his “quality of life” laws that were the reason for me getting staying sober for 25 years! I got a ticket for an “open canister” and didn’t pay it. Word got back to my job, and I had to go away to rehab. In fact, it took TWO rehabs because the first stint didn’t stick! I’m glad that I had enough time on the books to where I could go to the rehabs and it didn’t affect my time! But again, I never pictured Rudy as a Benedict Arnold!
