Who knew Kenny was going through menopause? The wife lost control of the thermostat at that point in her life.
When she got cold, instead of putting on a sweater, which she could later take off, she would just crank up the thermostat. Of course then a hot flash would hit and the heat would be completely off. I didn’t know you would wear out the dial on a thermostat until then. Never seen it happen before in my, the whole dial just fell right off to the floor. Poor old round dial laying there so helpless, so useless, so lonely, with its mangled spindle, and smeared indicator. A truly tragic sight to witness.

Mine is set at around 70 or so. If I get chilly I just put on a heavier top.
