You do have a very sophisticated palette. You love sausage, Doggydins, and Mrs. Dear’s leftovers, and whatever tidbits that might hit the floor during a party, but Haggis – that’s a hard no.

Ugghhh, I don’t blame you for rejecting haggis. One of the most revolting sounding foods in the world.

It always amuses me to see people cringing at the prospect of eating haggis; but they have no second thought about chowing down on a sausage; even though they are essentially the same thing .

That stuff is yucky!

Haggis? hmmm.. did you know in Scotland today, it’s known as Robert Burns’ night where Haggis are eaten each Robert Burns, night.

Haggis has such a bad rap. Tastes good though.

Asterix and Obelix went to england once and at the end of the adventure feast the Brits boiled an Ox for them. Obelix had the perfect response, Poor Thing!

Actually, haggis tastes much the same as liverwurst. A little drier, perhaps, because of the oatmeal. (But I have to remark that I’m describing American haggis—genuine Scottish haggis is illegal here.)
